I really enjoy the whole process of creating pictures. It was whilst studying Astronomy at college that I discovered something magical in photography. I was greatly inspired, so inspired that I decided to pursue that photography thing further.

I joined the BBC and it was there that I was able to gain fundamental experience as a cameraman, working on a range of high profile and award winning programmes, from music and arts series to dramas and documentaries.

As a freelancer I continue to find my work both exciting and rewarding. My inspiration comes from the contribution the DoP can make to the story telling process and, of course, that magic that first drew me to the profession.
